Built in 1862 Highwic is one of New Zealand’s finest Carpenter Gothic Mansions and provides a spectacular heritage setting for your next event. Whether you are planning a wedding, corporate event, celebration of life, or meeting, Highwic is the perfect venue for your upcoming function. Highwic offers many unique and charming spaces such as the 1880s Drawing Room, the Billiard House as well as award-winning heritage gardens.
Hidden away in the heart of Newmarket, Auckland’s premier shopping district, Highwic is centrally located and easily accessible via the motorway to North and West Auckland as well as the central city and airport. With plenty of accommodation within walking distance, Highwic is also great for any out-of-town guests.
Highwic is available to view Wednesday through Sunday, 10.30am to 4.30pm, or by appointment.

Food for thought
The styling looked fantastic, the chefs were super friendly & professional, the food was EPIC, the bar staff were efficient, kind, hard working, happy to take direction. You can all be really proud of what I’d describe as a KILLER team. Thank you so much for a great event.
